The EVO Championship Series 2023, the world’s largest fighting game event, is being held from August 4 to 6, in the local time zone. At the moment of writing this article, the finals of Street Fighter 6, the centerpiece of the tournament, are currently underway. Just before the Street Fighter 6 finals, a pre-match ceremony took place, during which an unexpected announcement was made about the collaboration with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and a teaser video for the new character A.K.I. was revealed!

Amidst the rendition of several Street Fighter-related tracks, they unexpectedly launched into the well-known theme song of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, “Cowabunga!” The room’s energy soared to its zenith, and as the crowd pondered the reason, the collaboration between Street Fighter 6 and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was unveiled!

The Battle Hub also showcases special decorations inspired by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. These beloved turtles from around the world are joining the Street Fighter 6 universe! Cowabunga!

Teaser trailer for new character A.K.I.

The teaser trailer for the second character, A.K.I., has already been released, despite the fact that the Year 1 additional character, Rashid, was only launched on July 24th!

The teaser trailer released this time is a segment from the World Tour footage, although actual battles aren’t shown. Nonetheless, it’s clearly evident that A.K.I. is a sinister character employing poisonous tactics.
