ところが、あまりの人気からオークションサイトなどでは高値で出品されてしまう事態になっているようです。中には1000ドル（約14万4000円）以上の値段で出品されているケースもあるとのこと。

定価2.99ドルのところeBayなどのオークションサイトでは10ドル（約1440円）前後で出品されていることが多いそうです。

2024年2月と9月にこのミニトートバッグが発売された時にも人気が過熱し、高値での転売が相次ぐことになりました。
『ピープル』誌の取材に対し、トレーダー・ジョーズの担当者は「弊社がPR活動を行うよりも早く顧客が近所の店舗でミニトートバッグを発見したので、想定よりもはるかに早く売れてしまいました」と回答しています。
